I already have Live, I'm not sure I would pay $120 a year for Sonys service on top of that.
Just my opinion. Its a fun game, no doubt, but its freakin Tomb Raider with less boobs and a better story. Many of its environments are confining, the story is predictable and I found myself wanting more. Thats just me though. If you like it more than sliced bread or something thats cool man, I'm happy that you do.

I'm one of those c0cky Forza 3 drivers. I preferr Forza 3 over any other console sim right now. I like the way it feels and I think the physics are great, i like that it at least has SOME damage that affects the cars looks and performance, and I don't believe that GT5P was anywhere NEAR as fun to play. I bought that one when I purchased my PS3. It blew me away and really changed my view on just how good a game can be.
That being said, I still love my Xbox 360. Call me blind or a fanboy or whatever, I just prefer it. Maybe its just what I'm used to after so many years. I think I'm lucky to have both consoles, and that I can enjoy games on each platform. There is just so much good stuff out there.

These look good. They seem a little more detailed than Forza 3, and I also noticed smoke, which Forza is severely lacking.
I have to say though, I love Forza 3. I play it daily. I HATED GT5P though. I thought it was boring and dry. I hope the real GT5 isn't that way.

I also agree on the controls. My kids and I absolutely love playing this game. At least one night a week, we all sit down and play this game, downloading new levels to check out and trying to make some of our own. The controls could be better, period. Still an amazing game though.

Let me be clear (and earn some disagrees just by saying it I'm sure), I love Forza Motorsport 3. I play it for a while every day after work. Comparing the sales of this to GT on the PSP is just lame though. FM3 should be compared to GT5P, or GT5 when it comes out. Compare GT on the PSP to Mairo Cart on the Wii.
When Naughty Dog borrows concepts and makes them better it's perfectly acceptable, even if it is unoriginal. When Microsoft borrows concepts and makes them better it's completely underhanded and might as well have been made by the devil himself.

Please, sometimes people are so ridiculous around here. People will use any fact to support why they think their game or console is better. Sales don't matter becuase only sheep buy the high selling games, well, except when its a game I like, then sales do matter. This is the best Megadth album by far. They have some killer songs on other albums( wake up dead, ashes in your mouth, among others) but this album is the best. Period. I can't wait to play Holy Wars The punishment due or Tornado of souls. This is awesome.

I am having a lot of fun playing the game. It's gonna be hard to find a better game this year.
However, that woman pointed out things that I have been thinking while playing it. I miss the Mako and I miss the elevators. To me, the Mako was 50 times more fun than the planet scanning thing. I'm to the point where I'm just done upgrading things because I dont want to go scan planets. While scanning, I feel completely removed from the game. At least with the Mako you really feel like...

At some point they just have to release it. There will ALWAYS be things that an artist will think can be improved upon. They need to just draw a line in the sand and say "when we get to this date, we are done making changes." Just release it.
Was that the game explained that they use a particle/anti particle manipulation to communicate when traveling faster than light. I found it cool because I was listening to "A Brief History of Time" (audiobook) and happened to just finish a section that talked about this very concept earlier in the day. Its always cool to see sci-fi games take a stab at creating a semi-scientific explanation for whats going on in the game.

I can see how they left out Heavy Rain though. That "game" was horrible. I get what they were trying to do there and applaud them for it, but the game bored me to death. RDR crushes Heavy Rain.
